Ĺ is pleased to announce the launch of its thirdfunded*fATPLand Flight Instructor Training Programme,now open to applicants from across the United Kingdom and all member states of the European Union. This significant initiative will support 16 highly motivated individuals with up to 82% funding toward a dual UK CAA and EASAfATPLlicence, culminating in a guaranteed three‑year Flight Instructor role upon completion.
This programmerepresentsmore than a training opportunity. It is a meaningful step towards widening access to the aviation profession for those with the talent and determination to succeed.
Two Pathways, One Professional Destination
To ensure accessibility for candidates atdifferent stagesof their aviation journey, Ĺ offers two dedicated routes:
- IntegratedfATPLTraining (Little or No Experience)Candidate contribution: £30,000 — an 80% reduction in total training fees.
- ModularfATPLTraining (For PPL Holders)Candidate contribution: £25,000 — an 82% reduction in total programme costs.
All successful applicants will complete their Flight Instructor Rating as part of the programme and transition directly into paid employment at Ĺ’s modern training campus in Alhama de Murcia, Spain.
Reducing Financial Barriers, Expanding Opportunity
The cost of pilot trainingremainsone of the most significant challenges for aspiring aviators. This initiative aims to address that challenge directly, offering a transformative opportunity to 16 individuals who may otherwise have been unable to pursue a career in aviation.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged 17or over attime of application
- Hold five lower secondary qualifications at Grade 4 (C) or above, or recognisedEuropean equivalents
- Hold aClass 1 Medical(UK CAA & EASA Denmark‑assigned) and pass a DBS/GSAT check
- Demonstrate Englishproficiencyat ICAO Level 4 or higher (if applicable)
- Hold a PPL (for Modular applicants only)

Applications openFriday 13 Februaryand closeSaturday 28 February. Assessments will take place throughout March, April, and May, with successful candidates notified byMonday 1 June 2026.
* 82% Saving based on total Modular Programme, Pilot & Flight Instructor Training and accommodation costs of £140,840 with a £25,000 applicant funding contribution. Integrated Programme saving is 80% with a £30,000 applicant funding contribution.
